When downtown Wayzata’s Mill Street Ramp was conceived, high level design objectives were required to compliment the high profile retail and residential entities. The completed ramp was more elegant and compact than anyone had imagined it could be. Visual Communications exceeded expectations with the design of two related kiosk units that provide a signature for the facility. 

The signage design included two (2) unique directory kiosks. Each unit includes fresh and inviting user-friendly map graphics featuring the natural beauty of Wayzata Bay, and color coded downtown locations with updatable tenant listings. Each of the two contemporary sign kiosks, monumental and desktop, include materials and finish elements typical of the ramp fascia. The units are internally illuminated with aluminum base materials, and grey and horizontal woodgrain architectural accents as seen in the ramp.
