Scope Design

The Somerset Public Library, situated in Somerset, Wisconsin, serves as a communal public space. Visual Communications was asked to design a donor recognition wall for the computer resource area as part of the library’s renovation and expansion project.

Our solution pays homage to the town's historical landscape, featuring stream-shaped panels that mirror the Apple River and its waterfall, establishing a sense of place. The use of wood integrates the existing library branding, while the use of bright colors reflects the vibrance of the newer spaces.

Fabrication by Green Dot Sign, a local vendor known for sustainable signs, achieves a wood stain effect where the wood grain shows through.
